Used for quantitative determination of myocardial troponin I (cTnI), myoglobin (Myo) and creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) in human serum, plasma and whole blood in vitro.

Troponin is composed of Troponin I, T and C, which, together with tropomyosin, regulate the interaction between actin and myosin by regulating the activity of Ca2+ on rhabdomyosin ATPase.When the myocardium is damaged, the cardiac troponin complex is released into the blood. After 4 to 6 hours, the elevated troponin I can be detected in the blood, and the elevated troponin I can be maintained in the blood for 6 to 10 days, providing a longer detection period.Cardiac troponin I (cTnI) has high specificity and sensitivity, so it has become an ideal marker of myocardial infarction.

Creatine Kinase (CK) has four isozyme forms: muscular type (MM), cerebral type (BB), hybrid type (MB) and mitochondrial type (MiMi), of which MB is mainly found in cardiomyocytes.In myocardial infarction, creatine kinase increased within 6 hours of onset, reached a peak within 24 hours, and returned to normal within 3 ~ 4 days. Among them, the isoenzyme MB of creatine kinase has a high specificity in diagnosis, so it has become one of the current markers of myocardial infarction.

Myo is a preferred early indicator for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). CTnI is a highly specific indicator for the diagnosis of AMI. Ck-mb is less sensitive than Myo or cTnI, but it is of certain value in the diagnosis of early post-AMI reinfarction.Clinical evidence shows that any single test result has the possibility of misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis, and combined test is more conducive to the early and accurate diagnosis of AMI.
