Larocain is a local anestheti with stimulan properties that some studies have shown to be half the potency of cocain.

When a product sold online in the UK in June 2010, advertised as dimethocaine was tested, it was found to in fact be a mixture of caffeine and lidocain, and the lack of any dopaminergic 

stimulan ingredient in such mixes may explain the limited recreational effects reported by many users. Other samples tested have however been shown to contain genuine dimethocaine, 

and one branded "bath salt" product containing primarily dimethocaine as the active ingredient, was noted to have been particularly subject to abuse by intravenous drug users in Ireland.

Usage

Role: local anesthetics. 

Local anesthetic intensity: tetracaine>tetracaine hcl>lidocaine>lidcaine hcl> benzocaine > procaine>procaine hcl, but there are corresponding side effects. 

Mainly used for surface anesthesia of the eyes, nose, throat and urinary tract. It can cause convulsions after absorption, and then it is converted to respiratory depression, and is generally 

not used for anesthesia such as infiltration and conduction. Widely used in hospitals, dentists, tattoos, fitness and extended male ejaculation delays.
