In-line leukocyte reduction filters for whole blood (For assembly with blood bags and in-line removal of leukocytes from one international unit of whole blood) 

1. Method for connecting: direct connection between filter and tubing in regular way.  

2. Validity (of performance assurance) of the filter: up to two years from the date of ETO sterilization.

3. Packaging: 4 pcs / unit package, 250 pcs/carton, carton size is: 60cm x 37CM x 36cm. 

4. Leakage: frequency of leakage test for the housing and its condition: In-process leakage test will be done on each filter.

5. Gravity or Pressure for filtration: Gravity filtration

6. Performanceof leukocyte reduction (average level):

a. Remaining WBC count: <1.0 x 10E6/unit.

b. Time of filtration: 15-30 mins, averagetime < 30 mins.

c. RBC recovery: about 90%.

d. Remaining blood: about 30 ml.

e. Platelet is removed.

7. Data of hemolysis after filtration and storage: Hemolysis rate at the end of storage <0.8% of red cells.
